When mentioned the name of Michael Bay, he's the guy who deliver all the explosion-heavy action blockbusters. But he's about to make the biggest surprise of his mainstream career by helming a low-budget dark comedy about bodybuilders titled PAIN AND GAIN.
As for now, Dwayne Johnson tops the list to headline the picture alongside Mark Wahlberg as the two steroid-abusing leads.
PAIN AND GAIN is actually based on a Miami New Times article from 1999 where it follows a pair of Florida bodybuilders who get caught up in an extortion ring and a kidnapping scheme goes horribly wrong.
