The Ulaganayagan could not have been happier on his birthday, which was celebrated yesterday. An artist named A P Shreedhar, who refers to himself as one of the biggest fans of Kamal Haasan, had come up with a very special birthday gift for the multi-faceted actor-cumdirector. The painter, who has been an admirer of Kamal for a long time has commissioned a series of paintings — portraits of the actor caught in his various moods. From images embodying the innocence of childhood to the actor maturing into a fine performer, Shreedhar's paintings seems to have captured Kamal in all his avatars.
The star seemed to have been overjoyed upon receiving this set of portraits and caricatures from Shreedhar and is said to have been all praise for the artist.
