Although Mary Elizabeth Winstead had a small part in 2006's DIE HARD 4 (originally known in States as LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD), her role as John McClane's (Bruce Willis) rebellious daughter Lucy McClane is quite a standout of her own. Now, with the long-gestating DIE HARD 5 finally gets rolling with director John Moore on the helm and Skip Woods in charge for the screenplay, the fifth installment is said to be involved John McClane battling local forces in Russia with his two sons. Unfortunately, this time there might be no Lucy McClane in DIE HARD 5. Here's what Winstead had to say below:
I'm assuming I will not be [in that] because I have not heard anything. But it's cool, all the updates and everything. I'm excited to see what happens with it.
Well, I'm expecting her to be back in DIE HARD 5. After all, she could play a bigger part this time around. Anyway, Mary Elizabeth Winstead can be next seen in the highly-anticipated prequel, THE THING, which scheduled to hit theaters next week.
