The young and rising hero Arulnidhi, grandson of chief minister Karunanidhi has completed the shoot of his second film Udhayan.
Udhayan is a commercial entertainer which amalgamates action and comedy. Arulnidhi will be seen in the role of a bank officer while Tollywood beauty Pranitha played Arulnidhi's love interest in the film. The film is directed by Chaplin who earlier worked as an associate to directors Dharani and Karu Pazhaniappan and then worked as an associate director of Pandiraj in 'Vamsam'. The story is totally based on a city theme and will appeal all sections of audiences and especially youngsters will like it more.
Arulnidhi also signed his third film Mouna Guru which is going to be directed by debutant Shanthakumar and will be produced under the banner of Mohana Movies.
